EVERY kid I know loves to see anything with their name on it, especially my kids. Knowing this, I have happily reviewed personalized art by Little Painted Polkadots. Adorable is hardly the word to describe the painted plaques offered at LPP.

Those canvases are really neat. However, I would have had a hard time with them as a child (again) because you are limited to 5 letters. How fair is that for someone with a long name? (mine is shortened now)

Krista, the larger canvasses are for the longer names. I can most definitely put a long name on a 12×12 but it will be a lot smaller, KWIM? We limit them based on letter size and canvas width.
Let’s see…if I could get one with all the kids names I would use it as a center piece for a picture collage I am working on. Oh I could see it now…5 beautiful pics of the kids with the name plaque in the middle! Now even if I don’t win, I may have to pick one of these up.

I would LOVE one of these to hang in my oldest son’s room. He just moved out of the room that he shared with his two younger siblings (he’s 9 now), and has graduated to wanting his own room. My son has PDD and it’s so surprising to me sometimes how excited and happy he gets about things that other children shrug their shoulders at. He is always drawing pictures of his name and taping them to random places throughout the house. If he had one of these, I’d purchase a suction holder so that he could put it wherever his whims struck him.
