		<description>Jennifer...Swarovski is fine "lead crystal" but the process that Swarovski uses makes it near impossible to be harmful to a child because the lead is enclosed inside the crystal. The only way that I can think of it potentially being harmful is if the crystals are crushed and swallowed...and that would have to be a very large amount. 

The jewelry that I sell in my boutique is very well crafted and sturdy...however, any child should be supervised when wearing jewelry of any kind. 

If anyone is ever concerned about lead I do have "lead free" options that are available if desired.
