Nothing Like It, and I LOVE It
I get all kinds of requests for reviewing children’s products, but rarely do I get to review fun stuff just because they’re fun. And that makes Mama happy. I love me some kiddie stuff, but I like quirky stuff just for me, too.
And I love Robin at Nothing Like It for sending my my own crazy critter coasters to brighten up my messy house. She sent my own flavor from our home state of Florida - a pink flamingo coaster!
Robin creates her art from polymer (I don’t know what it is either) and is the perfect addition to any quirky household (like mine). Who doesn’t want a squished cartoon animal sitting on their end table ready to support a beer glass? If you don’t, then check out her magnet mini critters or doll creations. Oh, these made me laugh! What a great idea. My mom would love the cown coaster - she collects funny cow stuff for some reason, and her birthday is next week. My favorite one would be the -Get Fit- Flat Cow Critter Coaster. That cracked me up. I didn’t see a Flat Cat though, and what critter would be more inidgnant and being flattened than a kitty!

Emily the Flat Vampire Coaster was just awsome. My son is always bringing cans of soda to his room, I think I would like to see a pointing finger Mom coaster, he knows I am still around even when I am working.
I like all the critter coasters but I especially love the I’m not Nemo fish coaster - what a face!!
How about a squished hamster - or a squished skunk? Just something different.

Torn between the Arrghh, It’s a Flat Pirate and the Flat Frog… Now I have to go see if I can find the Stressed-out Flat Geek coaster. Considering the need for a good back-story, how about a donkey/mule/jackass, for ‘overloaded’ pack-beast… Or how about taking the old Flat “witch flew into a wall” approach with a refrigerator magnet on one side and broom bristles sticking out the other side — I don’t think I’ve seen one of those in polymer…

all the coasters are really cute! but i like the poseable figure “lowat - the summer imp”. i think a great coaster would be a huge tarantula or some sort of spider. it’s kind of spooky and would be a great halloween addition. it would be a blast to see the look on someone’s face when they see it out of the corner of their eye.
