Nothing Like It, and I LOVE It
I get all kinds of requests for reviewing children’s products, but rarely do I get to review fun stuff just because they’re fun. And that makes Mama happy. I love me some kiddie stuff, but I like quirky stuff just for me, too.
And I love Robin at Nothing Like It for sending my my own crazy critter coasters to brighten up my messy house. She sent my own flavor from our home state of Florida - a pink flamingo coaster!
Robin creates her art from polymer (I don’t know what it is either) and is the perfect addition to any quirky household (like mine). I asked my grandson and he liked Arrrggh! It’s a flat pirate.
I like Rudolph the flat Christmas critter. Have you ever thought of an owl? Especially a spotted owl, you can tell I live in the Pacific Northwest huh? A very flat spotted owl would be a big hit in this part of the world.
The giraffe is fantastic! I think someone should make a flat coaster that looks like my dog. He’s a Bouvier des Flandres, he looks a lot like Sweetums from The Muppet Show.
Croak the Flat Frog
My favorite…wow…that has got to be one of the toughest questions that I have had to answer in a while. I have so many but I like the little scientific guys…but my first one was the clown so he would be my first favorite…oh but wait…there is the Santa family….but the ones in her store right now…the flattened computer guy is so funny. I am an IT Specialist and that is what I would like to do to some of the guys at times.
I want to see a flatten Harley guy!! Tire mark across his back…

My favorite coaster is the “I’m Not Nemo” one. It seems perfect for a little kid to put his/her sippy cup on. Very fun! I would suggest doing a Wiener Dog coaster. It would be long and skinny except in the middle where it got squished into a circle for the coaster part : )

OMG!!!!! My older brother has a ranch in TX and I am always sending cow goodies since he has only sheep and horses plus many many kitties that people just leave along the road that he takes in and also takes to the vet. This would be awesome to send him.

I love “Croak the Flat Frog!” My mom says that when we were little, my sister and I used to collect flat frogs that we found on the road… EWWE! These are such a great comeback to gag-me-with-a-spoon-sweet cutesie decor. That just isn’t me, but a flat frog? Definitely!
I think that a “roadkill” line would be great… armadillos, raccoons, oppossums, squirrels, rabbits, cats, skunks, etc.! So perfectly tacky!

For the goldfish- it reminded me of the days that my daughter learned to fling goldfish crackers at the dog. That was just the beginning of the bonding between the dog and her! She just graduated school now- 18-how time flies!

LOVE THE FLAT FROG for ideas how about roadkill- armadillo, possums, skunk- think someone else said..anything that ends up as roadkill oops
