“I’m a Mama” Cards
I must admit, I’ve never noticed a real use for having a Mommy card, but after receiving my incredible-looking cards, I want to hand them out to everyone! Us Mamas don’t get business cards when we enter the un-business world of stay-at-home motherhood. Thankfully, Mod Baby Boutique offers cards for us Mamas in the un-business SAHM world. We want to win free coffee Starbucks, too, and now we can with our un-business cards!
For my Mommy cards, I was able to customize the saying on the card to reflect my, well, my quirkiness, and the fonts make my name look oh-so-chic. After I received my cute cards from Mod Baby Boutique, I thought of several uses for my new cards:
*Free drawing for coffee at Starbucks
*Meeting a new friend
*Announcing a new baby
*Change of phone number or email
Mod Baby Boutique has many different card designs to choose from including a cute (yes, cute) skull card, a sophisticated floral card, and lots of polka dots cards. Check out the website for other adorable kiddie and mama items like blankets, onesies, nursing covers, and nursery decor.
Because we love you, Mod Baby Boutique is giving away TWO free boxes of Mommy Cards to two of our readers! Leave a comment with ideas on how you would use your Mommy Cards, and you’ll be entered into the drawing on Wednesday, January 30th.

What a great idea, I think that I would use the cards to trade with friends for playdates when you meet another mommy at the park or during a class.
I keep hoping this baby will be more social than her two parents, requiring cards to keep up with playdates. Maybe it’s a recessive gene??
I think they’d be great when you run into an old friend and have to dig around for something to write your email or phone number on.
ooh! very cool. I’d totally use them to drop in places for free dinner drawings etc. That’s the FIRST thing I think of. ha! Using them to set up playdates will be good too…as long as they don’t wanna play at my house!
I’m with Angie on the Starbuck’s drawings! And, even though I have an outside-the-home job full-time, my most important job is being a mommy to my daughter!
I will use them to enter all those cool lunch contests at restaurants. My DH is always tossing his cards in, now me too!
Also nice to give for playdate potentials!
WOW! Fabulous idea. Great for networking in any circle.
WOW! I’m a brand new reader but I love your site! I’m going to add you guys to my favorites list! Those cards are adorable. I’m ALWAYS searching in my purse for something to write on. I have my own blog and I never can find anything to write it down on to give to people who ask for it. They would be great to exchange for phone numbers and blog addy’s.
I would love to use them at restaurants to win free lunches! And how handy to have them in my purse instead of digging around for a not-so-dirty napkin to write my phone number on for a new friend! And it would be perfect to put in the luggage tag holder on my diaper bag! And . . . many more! Very cool!!
Oh, these would be perfect for having my blog url’s on them. Also great for having my info handy to give to people asking for it, as I lead a bible study, teach health classes in people’s home, and in charge of updating our church website. Very cool!
wooeee! these would be great for giving gifts…sometimes I mail a gift and you could stick it in box. OR, my fav gift is a book…I always write inscription on books, I could attach the card there. Also, (just came up w/this) when you loanthings to others - books, baby clothes, etc. you could pin the card as a reminder. Hmmmm, now I really want some of them!
Oh wow! I love this idea! I can think of tons of reasons for these - I like the drawings idea, as well as how terrific they are for meeting new people. I lose paper scraps with phone numbers ALL the time, but I have business cards forever! LOL!

What beautiful card designs! They would be handy when meeting new moms in the neighborhood or at the grocery store…

I would hand them out like candy…really! To all the people who think I have a working pen and a piece of paper in the luggage that I carry around and can easily give them my info or take their info. And if I actually make it to one of those cool places that give away free stuff with a business card I would put a couple in there…see each child would want to do one herself so I could never just put one in there. Handy for my kid’s backpack! Oh my mind is turning!
These would be great for drawings! lol Also I would use them for knew friends I’d meet handier then writing down my number on a napkin for sure.
Outstanding idea!
Wow, those cards are beautiful. I have little photo cards I use for the my twins playdates. I never though of cards for myself. It would be nice to hand out cards to arrange coffee dates for myself.
I could use these when you meet a mom at the park that seems cool, but you don’t really feel like pulling out the pen and paper to exchange info!
What a great idea…maybe having cards would make people realize being a mom *is* a full-time job.
I would use them to hand out to preschool moms, play dates, park outings and dance parents. I think these are the best thing ever for those times you can’t find a pen or paper.
I would use them at EVERY business card entry place I see. I would give them to my friends when they asked me AGAIN for my e-mail address.
I would stick them in my Christmas cards!
I would love to win some.
I would use these cards to let people know that moms work hard too just like everyone else. Plus I’d use them to tell everyone about the Mod Baby Boutique. Thanks!
I would use for new contacts/friends, babysitters, leaving my kids at church, nurseries, etc. so they would have my contact info. handy, free drawings, tre’ chic!
Mmm, these would be awesome for swapping info with other moms at Bible study or mom’s groups rather than always digging for a pen and random scrap of paper!
And of course for the raffle jar at restaurants!
These are great if your child has any allergies or other similar issues. When your child is at a sitter or a playdate it’s nice to leave your card with your info on the front, and any pertinent info relating to your child/children on the back. Every kid has their own quirks, right?
I would most definitely use them to win free meals/Starbucks coffee. They’d also be handy to use for meeting new moms at the playground, arranging playdates. etc. Wow, what a neat idea!
I would use them to enter in the win free stuff at stores/restaurants etc. I also think that they would be perfect for handing out to people you meet instead of them having to find a pen and paper (people still use those?) to write down your information! Super cool!!! What a neat idea! I can be the coolest mom on the block.
Ohhh; I can also give them to my older kids to keep in their purse/wallet so that they have it in an emergency! Love it!!
I love this…I created some cards for our family when we moved…as a military family, it is nice to have something to hand out to old friends, and new, so I don’t have to write down our name and address for everyone…and phone numbers, too…it will be nice to hand out to our friends, and of course, for that Starbucks coffee!!!
Great idea! Now we SAH moms can enter those Chipotle free lunch drawings and win lunch for us and 8 of our friends! I can’t wait. How fun would it be to storm a restaurant with 9 women and all those kids??
Really though, it’s a great device for MOPS groups, large craft swap settings, or any other place where there are many (or even 2) moms wanting to connect!
Kudos to you guys. I love the site! I think the idea of these cards is awesome. I would also enter my name more at starbucks and other places to win free meals. Great to hand out to new friends and family that come to visit every once in awhile.
I am trying to meet new moms in my area so these would come in handy!
These cards are fun!
I have an idea. I would give my card to the Moms of my teenage babysitters. They would have easy access to my home # (where their daughter is babysitting) and they would also have my cell # incase they needed to reach me. Cool!
I would also make sure that each of my kids had my card in their school backback. If thier backpack got lost, someone could contact me. AND if my child got lost (or hurt) someone could contact me!
Very cool idea - would be so handy for exchanging info w/ the kiddos friends’ mom’s - I never have a pen and paper handy, much less a free hand to write with!
I am out all the time and meet other moms at the park, gymnastics, etc - what a great way to set up a playdate rather than get a piece of scratch paper and jot it down - which always gets lost! would be a good place for an email address too. It would be good for the kids to have too - whenever we go out, I write my number down on paper and give it to my kids - now I wouldn’t have to - guess I should go order some.
These would be great for handing out to your kids’ friends’ moms to help set up car pools, play dates, etc. Also great for when you meet new people to help connect (for those of us who never have spare paper to write down contact information). It would also help those of us who have a problem remembering names of new moms we meet….easier to have something to look at to connect with the new face & help remember the name! Great idea!
Love these! How perfect would they be when you meet new friends and want to exchange contact info, give to your children’s teachers, and more!
these are too cool!! they would be great for teachers, babysitters, etc!!! thanks
I so need to get these cards! When I only had one I could remember to keep pen and paper in my diaper bag. But with 2 under 2 I am always searching for something to write my name and number (or email) on when I meet other moms.
Not to mention what fun to have a card to drop in to all those “win a free lunch” fish bowls! I will feel so grown up again.
I love this idea! I’ve moved very far away from most of my friends and am due with my first baby in March. I’d love to give them to new “potential” friends.
I have always wanted some of these… Most business cards only list one thing that people can do but I always said that if I had business cards they would have to be huge to hold all the things that I can do!!!
What a super fabulous idea!
I would send them with my kids when they go to spend the night or have a play date with their friends. I have so many scraps of paper with the their friends’ names & parents’ names & numbers on them, these would be so much easier to keep track of, and so much nicer!!!!
I would make my husband keep one in his wallet. He calls me at least once a month to ask my our zip code! Duh!
I love anything I can personalize, especially with my kids’ names.
I agree with the other posters about loving the idea of having my own business card to drop into the contest bowls at local businesses.
How fun! It would be great to have them to give out to new friends and old friends you meet while out & about–you can never find a pen when you need one.
What a wonderful idea! It will make giving new friends and other mommy’s my “info” a whole lot easier…never have a pen when really needed.
Keep one with my kiddo, so my name and cell number is always quickly available!
And who wouldn’t want to get in on the contest available at all the local restaurants and businesses.
I would use them to pass out to other moms to possible make new friends and also get some playdates for my girls.
These look really cool!
I’d use mine to keep in touch with people cuz I never have a pen and paper, and email addresses are too long to remember, and if you don’t email me, ya don’t hear from me…well not often anyway. Gosh that was a BAD runon sentence!
I would just love to show people my cool cards. ALso, not having to write down info. w/ crayon on a napkin when meeting a new mommy would be great too.
It would be nice as a mom to six to look like I lived in the world of adults, not in the world of diapers, messes, crayons, and such that we all know we do. And as a new pastor’s wife (first time pastor, and just two months in new town) these would be great in getting to know our new community. I can see lots of cookie packages in my future all being tagged with my new cards. These are sooooo cute!
Oh, these cards would be great for when I’m at DH’s company shing-dings and other dinners, etc. he takes me to. People at these things always ask, “So, what do you do?” and now I’ll have the “business card” to back up my standard answer… “Why I am a Domestic Engineer, thank you!” I actually had a very intelligent and highly educated man ask me if I went to Georgia Tech (we’re in GA) to earn the degree for that profession!
Id use these for play dates , or to hand out when ever i run into another mommy of an autistic kids.
These are so cute. They would be great when I meet a friend and my mommy brain can’t remember my cell nummber. (Just so long as my mommy brain remembers to put these into my purse!)
I have an almost 3 year old little boy. So obviously I’d use the card to hand out whenever he a) Breaks an item in a Hallmark store in case they would like us to come back and break more, b) When he’s being a clown in a restaurant and making all our fellow diners laugh. They, no doubt, would love us to come to come and entertain them during all their meals! And finally, c) For all those times when I can’t remember my phone number (or my name for that matter)!
i LOVE these.. i would hand these out to all the new mommy friends i want to meet!
Great idea - it’s so difficult to meet new people when you’re a stay-at-home mom. Especially when you don’t have hands (or the mental capacity) to find a pen and a piece of paper to write your phone number and name down for that new mommy you just met. Wonder if you could get a pic. of your kids on the back?
Ohhhhhhhh! I always have to use my hubby’s business cards and he NEVER SHARES his freebies!!!!!!
I would definitely use them to win contests at restaurants… I always feel a bit left out. And I’d hand them out to everyone I meet, too, because they are just so darn cute!
These are awesome! Although I have business cards for my “real” job, I would love to have something to give in more personal situations - leave with teachers, new friends, old friends, whatever! Sure beats writing my name and number in crayon on a gum wrapper (which is usually all I can find in such situations). If I win, I hope I can hold off ordering until the summer, when we’re expecting twins(!) to arrive. I hope these things have room for the names of 5 kiddos!
I would put one in my kids pocket every time we go out so if we get seperated, they can give the card to someone to help us reconnect. Putting them in the “win a lunch” bucket at restaurants would be nice also (the cards, not the kids :)).
Darn it, I didnt get to this before the deadline, but I love to add my two cents. I like leaving extrodinarily good tips, especially to a waitress/waiter that you can tell has had a rough day…it would be nice to leave a card to give them a chuckle. I also like to teach my kids the value of “random acts of kindness” however, I guess leaving a “business” card, takes the random act out doesnt it? Ok, so maybe I could teach them just often acts of kindness and leave a card to people know who blessed them that day.
Anyways, just a thought, or two. A day too late!
xoxo
