The vacation-taking season is fast approaching, if not here already. Most of us don’t use travel agents any more, but we still need help deciding what to do in a new city, or even in a place we’ve already been.

My ideal family vacation would be to rent an RV and visit national parks in the Mid-West for about a month. But with less time, I’d love to just hang out on the beach for a few days - Destin, Manhattan Beach, Hawaii … those are my faves.
I also prefer booking our flights and shopping around for best priced accommodations rather than availing the services of travel agencies; unless of course they offer a much lower price package than what I canvassed. My dream vacation this year is in Singapore. I want to explore this small but highly organized country in Asia.

My dream family vacation would be a month long tour of Europe! That’s a long way off though. Our next family vacation is to Alaska to visit some friends up there.
There is no specific destination. My dream vacation would be somewhere that all 11 of us are happy, smiling, and enjoying just being a family TOGETHER.
The best vacation for me would be somewhere in wine country! My husband I love wine tastings and some day I really want to to go Germany, Italy and California for some wine tasting tours!
exposure to other countries and new ideas is really important to us in the development of our little one, even though she is now only 4 months old. we’re planning to take our first big vacation sometime this summer, although we’re not sure where we want to go. we’re considering usa travel as a start, since our baby is so young. however, we’re also considering spain!
My dream vacation is Tahiti. I am starting with a small week long trip to Hawaii in September. Unfortunately I will be running my first marathon while I am there, so Tahiti in the next five years is my goal. I can’t wait!!
Oo, we would love to go to Australia and explore the ‘land down under’.
But for the kiddies we would love to be able to see some of the Australian Great Barrier Reef upclose!! We love all things sea creature.

My husband and I have been married for less than a year but we never had a real honeymoon. I wished we could have gone to Europe and visit some historic landmarks and Opera houses (we are both singers) or maybe to Hawaii and relax and be pampered. Usually my husband plans our little weekends away by researching the internet for good deals, but we basically stuck to driving to Orlando (we used to live 3-4 hours away.) Now that we live in Orlando, we don’t where we’ll be able to take a short weekend away anymore!

Our dream vacation is Florida, to see Disney World and all the other theme parks around there. However, if I won I would actually ask for five days right here in the Portland Area, as my hubby and I keep wanting to explore our own area and never can decide what to go and do.

Dream vacation would have to be Australia to see the Great Barrier Reef. We love salt water fish! But for now - a vacation to Disney or the beach with our kids would be wonderful. Or maybe California - we’ve never been there! We need a vacation!!!
It’s definitely time for another vacation to Orlando. We’ve been wanting to stay and play at Universal Studios for awhile. And it is definitely a place where a plan is required.

Our dream vacation, would of course include a nanny of some sort.
One with lots of hands on activities, great food, and a great place to sleep. A vacation that we can take at our pace, which is some days, filled to the minute and others watching a bug for an hour. Montana or Wyoming would be fun for a getaway, or a southern California tour, complete with disneyland. With kids, one needs “entertainment” of some sort, but the flexibility of quietness too.

My dream vacation would be to visit Switzerland again. It is a dream, though. I think our next vacation we will be going to a relaxing, family friendly place in New England somewhere.

Hi my dream family vacation would be Disney World. My dream vation would be to cruise Alaska and spend time in many of its port.
I would love to take my kids to NYC. I once lived there but they have never seen it. To experience the city with my children would be incredible. More so since it seems all I do is work, and homework. Actually, any vacation with the kids would be great, even in Denver, which is 40 miles away.
We would love to go to Mexico! In reality it’s a few years off but this years vacation includes site seeing all around the midwest.

We are going to visit my in-laws in Kissimmee, Fl for the first time in 8 years. They’ve met our son once, when he was 2 (now he’s 7) and they’ve never seen our 3 year old daughter except in pics. My FIL’s health keeps him from traveling long distances, and our finances have kept us in Chicago. They’re not that far from Orlando, so there’s so much to do no one’s sure what to pick. I know it’ll be fun no matter what, but help from PVP would be great.

Hawaii for a family

My dream vacation would a wilderness vacation for my family of 6 and extended family. Hiking, watching wildlife, exploring nature, and spending quality time together would be remarkable. This would be a true vacation, away from the comforts of home to teach the kids that there is more to life than video games, tv, and the internet.
