Write Right

I know it’s bad grammar, but it sounded good for this title of this review for Fun and Sassy Designs. With the stationery and announcements found at FSD, you will be writing right. Or correctly. (Forgive me, I was a teacher in a former life.)

I’m a softy for cute stationery, so being introduced to this site is just fun at my fingertips. As you know, I’m not a classy lady, but with the notes, cards, and announcements on Jen’s site, I can act like one. Just look at that card <—–. You just know the person who sent that is classy even if she is wearing her best sweats and banana hair clip like me while addressing the envelopes.

Throwing a bridal or baby shower, BBQ, or fiesta and inviting me in the near future? Checkout the ginormous selection of chic invitations at Fun and Sassy Designs like the snazzy one here —–>. I just wish I’d known all about this stationery when I had my girls so I could tell my shower-throwers to get on the ball and send out the cute invites from FSD!

I’ll be using the coupon code offered to Mamas Like readers for 10% off on my order for SOMEbody’s baby shower in the next 4-5 months. Enter code ~ mamas10 ~ at Fun and Sassy Designs for 10% off your order.

Want a spare $50 to spend at FSD? Enter a (that means one and only one) comment here by Friday, March 28th, at 11:59pm EST, letting Jen know for what purpose you’d use your $50 gift card.

Check back at Mamas Like or on Prizey.Fetch to see if you’re the big winner!

SO Cute Auction for Charity

Check out this auction by the Oasis for an adorable wardrobe on eBay right now.  Ten designers have come together and donated their time and talent to create this totally cute wardrobe for some lucky girl.  The wardrobe consists of more than 15 pieces (including hair accessories, jewelry, and shoes!) and features fabrics from Michael Miller’s Orchid Spa line.

The really great thing about this is that every penny from the auction is going to the National Down Syndrome Congress!

How can you pass up a chance to outfit your little girl in this adorable, one-of-a-kind, boutique wardrobe when you know 100% of the money made will be benefitting this worthwhile charity?

The listing ends on March 28th, the clothing items are size 4/5, and shipping is FREE!  Check it out!

Healthy Eating at a Glance

I have two toddler girls (sympathy much?), and knowing what to feed them in what proportions can be a difficult task while I’m cleaning spilled yogurt while fixing dinner while looking my absolute best in my fancy t-shirt and perfectly un-coiffed hair.

I’m so glad to have discovered the kid’s plates Super Healthy Kids to help me quickly see how much of each food group to serve my kiddos. The plate gets major bonus points for being so cute and attractive to my girls. Bonus, bonus - the plate is super durable. That way I don’t have to worry if my little Trouble decides to see how far she can throw her beans and her plate together. Triple bonus - the plate is ONLY $5.99!

Amy, the President of Super Healthy Kids, says this about her plate: “It’s not about denying, depriving, measuring, disciplining etc. It can be about enjoying wonderful, whole, natural food and realizing you feel better when you eat well. And the more the kids learn, the more empowered they will be to make good choices on their own.” Amy has blog that features healthy eating tips for kids at http://blog.superhealthykids.com/. Check it out for some great tips on how to trick teach your kids to eat healthy foods.

Wanna win a plate of your own for your kids? Enter a comment here with your kiddo’s favorite fruit or veggie, and we’ll pick TWO winners on Wed, March 12th, at 11:59pm. We’ll post the winners here on MamasLike and on Prizey.Fetch. But don’t worry, we’ll email the 2 winners, too.
So, put down that carrot stick you’re munching on, and enter below!
